Matthew Claxson
Matthew Claxson is based in our Central London office. He has been working exclusively in personal injury since 1999 over which period of time he has gained extensive experience representing clients who have suffered injury through accidents at work, road traffic collisions, animal accidents, slips/trips, industrial disease, criminal injury compensation authority claims and accidents occurring abroad. He is an accredited member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), and Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). He is also the Training and Education Co-ordinator for Fentons London office. Matthew has a broad experience of representing the interests of people having previously been Chairman of The Law Society of England & Wales Young Solicitors Group representing some 31,000 Solicitors, and most recently Honorary Secretary of the City of Westminster & Holborn Law Society. He has also sat as a Judge on the The Law Society JLD National 2008 Pro Bono Competition championing free legal advice to members of the public and organisations. Away from the law he enjoys skiing, sailing, archaeology, DIY and following Formula 1 Racing.Our People
