Gary Herbert
Gary studied at Sheffield University where he also completed his Legal Practice Course. Gary qualified as a solicitor in August 2002. He has substantial experience in dealing with a large volume of head injury cases including child head injury cases. He is also experienced in spinal injury work and has brought claims against the Ministry of Defence arising from peacekeeping operations and against the Home Office for abuses within the prison service.Gary has particular experience in dealing with brain injuries and has acted for a number of clients, both adults and children, in cases with a quantum in excess of one million pounds. In relation to spinal cord injury work, Gary has acted for client in cases with a quamtum in excess of one million pounds.
Gary was previously secretary of Headway in Leeds and is currently involved with the Manchester branch of the Child Brain Injury Trust.
