Deborah Johnson
Deborah Johnson has over 12 years post qualification experience of working with those who have been seriously injured or bereaved as a result of road collisions and accidents. She is an expert in dealing with fatal and serious head and spinal injury claims.
Deborah joined Fentons in January 2005 having spent 12 years at Irwin Mitchell. Whilst maintaining her own caseload, Deborah is also Head of Practice Development at Fentons. Part of this role is liaising with and supporting our nominated charities, and also encouraging our solicitors to get involved in whatever way they can.
Deborah has been actively involved in training Family Liaison Officers and hospital staff nationwide for the past 6 years, presenting sessions on the importance of civil claims. She is a trustee of Brake and Secretary of a local Headway branch in Warrington. She regularly attends events and conferences organised by all these charities, as well as helping them with new sponsorship initiatives.
She recently led a committee of our fee earners in organising a charity ball in Manchester which raised over £23000 for the charities. In her remaining free time, Deborah is a keen scuba diver both at home and abroad and is the secretary of her local BSAC ( British Sub Aqua Club) in Congleton, Cheshire. She enjoys days out at the races and travelling.
