Jonathan Fogerty

Jonathan has many years' experience of bringing successful claims for clients arising out of road traffic collisions and accidents at work. He has a particular interest in serious injury claims arising out of spinal cord injury as he sustained a spinal cord injury as a teenager in a diving accident.

A graduate of Warwick University, Jonathan completed his studies at Nottingham Law School, qualifying as a solicitor in September 1999. A member of the Law Society, Jonathan is a qualified mediator with an interest in neighbourhood disputes and workplace mediations. He is now a trustee and the Chair of the SIA (Spinal Injuries Association), the national organisation in the UK supporting those people living with spinal cord injury.

Jonathan also delivers a spinal cord injury training programme to healthcare professionals, and as a passionate believer that care standards for those living with a long-term condition should be improved by listening to and learning from the patient, he provides training through the SIA to newly injured individuals on self advocacy, 'knowing your rights' and the Equality Act 2010.
