Jacqui Hayat

Jacqui is a partner and head of the Medical Negligence department at the firm's London office with more than 15 years' experience handling cases involving medical accidents and clinical negligence. Among many cases attracting national press attention, Jacqui secured a £4.7 million High Court settlement on behalf of a prisoner left brain damaged as a result of negligence by HMP Brixton.

A graduate of Leicester University, Jacqui completed her Legal Practice Certificate at Chester College of Law, and was formerly head of the Clinical Negligence department at a North London law firm.

Jacqui is a Senior Litigator member of APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers) and a Law Society Personal Injury Panel member. She is a Legal Aid Adjudicator, a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Reference Group and member of the AvMA (Action against Medical Accidents) Lawyers Support Group.
