Tickets go on sale for 2011 Fentons Charity Ball

8th March 2011

Following the enormous success of our 2009 event, the Fentons Charity Ball will return to Manchester this autumn. The Halloween-themed fundraising evening will be held at the prestigious "The Point" venue at Lancashire Cricket Ground on Friday 14th October 2011.

"The aim of the night will be raising as much money as possible for four charities close to all of our hearts," said partner Deborah Johnson, chair of the firm's charity committee. "This year we will be donating the proceeds to Brake the road safety charity, the Spinal Injuries Association, Headway the brain injury association and the British Lung Foundation," she said.

Dress code for the evening is black tie, although because of the Halloween theme guests are being encouraged to don fancy dress. "Highlights of the evening, which will be hosted by comedy impressionist Steve Williams, will be a champagne reception, a delicious three course dinner with wine, a casino, auction and a grand raffle," said Deborah. "There will also be a prize for the best costumes, and rock band Heat Treatment will provide the music for dancing until late."

Deborah said high demand for places was anticipated, with 175 of the 600 tickets being sold before the event was even announced.

"This is going to be a fabulous night, which will hopefully help us surpass the record amount we raised at our previous ball," said Deborah. "Anyone wishing to order tickets should take advantage of our early booking offer, and we would love to hear from anyone willing to offer a prize for either the auction or raffle."

A table for 10 is available at the standard rate of £1,000 plus VAT, however bookings placed before 30 June 2011 will be available for £900 plus VAT.

"This will be a truly fabulous night," said Deborah, "and every penny raised will be going to a number of excellent causes."
