Asbestos Victim's search for witnesses

20th March 2009

A former delivery driver, now aged 62, was exposed to asbestos dust and fibres and has, consequently, been diagnosed with the fatal asbestos related condition, mesothelioma.

Our client who resides in the Bedfordshire area was exposed to asbestos at the Atlas Cement Company Ltd, Whaddon Road, Meldreth, Hertfordshire, between 1971 and 1974. This site was also known as the Atlas Stone Company Ltd.

When our client found himself to be breathless whilst going about his normal day to day activities in the Summer of 2008, he sought advice from his GP and local hospital. He was shocked to discover that he has this fatal disease.

He is now seeking the help of anybody who is able to give information about the use of asbestos in the early to mid 1970s at the company's Meldreth site. It is essential for our client to be able to prove his exposure to asbestos during that period and if anyone is able to assist, they should not hesitate to contact our client's solicitor, Lesley Mynett, at Fentons Solicitors LLP, on her direct dial telephone number, 0844 854 3095.
