Five teenagers have been injured when the car they were travelling in overturned in Doncaster.
One of the passengers, an 18-year-old girl, was said to be in a serious condition in hospital with head injuries after the light-coloured Vauxhall Vectra left the A614 Bawtry Road and crashed in a ditch near the junction with Croft Road in Finningley.
The 19-year-old driver received slight injuries in the crash, one of three 18-year-old passengers suffered a cut to the head and lower back, another received a dislocated shoulder and rib injuries, and a 15-year-old suffered a fractured pelvis.
All the teenagers are from the local area.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the driver failed to negotiate a sweeping left-hand bend and the car left the road to the driver's side.
The vehicle mounted the grass verge and rolled over on to its roof before coming to a rest in a ditch.
Two of the car's occupants freed themselves from the vehicle and raised the alarm with the emergency services.
The remaining two teenagers were freed by firefighters before being taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary for treatment.
South Yorkshire Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or who saw the vehicle being driven prior to the accident, to contact the witness helpline on 0114 2202970.
